To find the right one You need to look at:
- the form of the frame- the best one is hexagonal because it is not possible to bend.
- ground stakes- needs to be at least 30 -40 mm long with thread. So You won’t have to catch your tent at some point.
2. Is textile tear proof?
Tears in the roof are No 1 reason that will end your partnership with a tent. Most of the textiles are 300D (fiber density) with PVC coating.
Density needs to be at least 450 – 500D and PU coating is essential in the northern climate. That kind of textile will be tear proof, will withstand temperatures as low as -30C and, last but not least will be lighter so gazebo assembly will be easier.
The most popular tear spots are corners and peak of the roof so don’t underestimate the significance of textile quality.
3. Do company offers design and printing services?
Full printing or sublimation can be made only by the manufacturer because textile is printed before sewed together. Partial print or logo printing can be made on already ready to use pop up gazebo.
The main thing is that it will save You a lot of time if printing will be made by the same company You buy a folding tent from.
4. Do gazebo comes with a warranty?
Warranty means security and free of charge service for a fixed amount of time. So You know if there will be something wrong with a tent, it won’t be your problem. It is No 1 factor that says that product is high quality and reliable.
5. Do distributor offers service and spare parts?
If You need to make some repairs or add some accessories at the peak of the season it needs to be fast and easy. So ask distributor if they have spare parts and accessories in stock?
About 1 year ago a client of ours bought the folding tent with printed logos on it but didn’t secure it at the event ( no ground stakes or weights). Suddenly came a strong wind gust and blew pop up gazebo into trees. The roof was damaged in numerous places but all the other parts were alright.
At this moment when You have more than 5 events after that, it is important that You can replace broken part fast.
